To help eliminate any unneeded stress, today we’ll be sharing our top 5 benefits of having your wedding rehearsal the same day as your wedding — enjoy!

1. HOSTING A ‘DAY-OF WEDDING REHEARSAL’ PREVENTS EVERYONE FROM HAVING TO DRIVE OUT TO THE VENUE TWICE

Your time is valuable — especially during the week / weekend of your wedding.

We want you to be able to enjoy this time with your favorite people without having to travel out to the venue twice within the span of two days.

You’ll be making memories you will cherish for the rest of your life — relax + enjoy the night before you become a married woman or man by celebrating with family + friends over dinner!

At THE SPRINGS, you have full use of your venue all day long (9 am to midnight), meaning your wedding rehearsal can easily take place the morning of your wedding — promise. 🙂

2. IT GIVES YOUR OUT-OF-TOWN TRAVELERS SOME EXTRA TIME TO GET INTO TOWN + GET SETTLED IN

You may have family + friends coming in from all over the state // country // world to help celebrate your Best Day Ever!

By hosting your Wedding Rehearsal the day of your wedding, your traveling guests receive an extra day to get into town + get settled before the festivities begin.

As we all know, Texas + Oklahoma weather can be unpredictable — a day-of Wedding Rehearsal gives your out-of-towners some buffer time, in case of flight delays, traffic, etc.

3. YOU CAN PERSONALIZE YOUR REHEARSAL DINNER LOCATION + MAKE IT YOUR OWN

Here at THE SPRINGS, we like to say “there is no wrong way to wedding!” It is such a joy to watch our Brides + Grooms plan a day unique and special to them — so why stop there??

As you will not need to drive out to the venue the night before your wedding, you can plan your Rehearsal Dinner at any location you’d like!

We love seeing our SPRINGS Couples use this opportunity to share their favorite pizza joint, taco stand, BBQ restaurant, etc. with their closest family + friends.

With all the hard work you’ve put into your wedding planning, we encourage you to take the night before off and go to your favorite hangout spot with all your favorite people! Tomorrow is going to fly by—take advantage of the night before and just relax. 🙂

4. YOU CAN ALSO OPT TO SAVE A LITTLE MONEY + HOST A WEDDING DAY BRUNCH INSTEAD OF DINNER THE NIGHT BEFORE

At THE SPRINGS, our Dress Rehearsals take place on the day of your wedding (you pick the time!) 

This being said, some of our Brides + Grooms opt out of a “traditional” rehearsal dinner the night before and instead, host a celebratory, wedding day brunch at the venue following a quick “run through” of the ceremony.

A catered-in brunch tends to be less expensive than reserving a private room and hosting 20+ of your favorite people at a restaurant the night before.

Also, who doesn’t like brunch? Y U M. 🙂

5. WHEN YOU HOST YOUR WEDDING REHEARSAL THE MORNING OF YOUR WEDDING, EVERYONE IS IN “WEDDING MODE”

And having everyone in “wedding mode” is a GOOD. THING. 

Remember — At THE SPRINGS, you have the venue for a full 15 hours on your Best Day Ever. This provides ample time for a quick “run through” or two.

As the Wedding Venue Experts, we have hosted thousands upon thousands of weddings + have learned that dress rehearsals often go much smoother when they take place the day-of.

Why so?

Well… without fail, when you have your Dress Rehearsal the night before, someone is going to be late, putting you behind schedule for getting to your Rehearsal Dinner location. People also tend to be chatty the night before, as it may be the first time they are seeing each other in quite a while — and chatty wedding party members make for a difficult rehearsal!

When you plan on hosting your Wedding Rehearsal the day of the wedding, you are still able to celebrate the night before over dinner, allowing everything everyone to be catch up + get the chattiness out of their systems.

Before they head back to their hotels after dinner, remind them what time they need to arrive at the venue the next morning — you can even encourage their timeliness by promising coffee + donuts upon their arrival!

Fast forward to the morning of your wedding.

As soon as everyone arrives at the venue, you are ready to go — you can jump straight into your Wedding Rehearsal if you’d like! (Some couples wait until a little later in the day / early afternoon)

As all SPRINGS venues have built-in sound systems (inside + out), you can get your wedding day playlist going, practice with music, and get your rehearsal done + out of the way!

Now, all that’s left to do is enjoy + get married!
