If you’re from the south, you know that southern hospitality, family, and a good plate of brisket are essential at any event–including your wedding day.
Bowdy & Courtney whole-heartedly had a southern wedding, and let’s just say if you are truly southern you are about to fall in LOVE.
The very first step when planning your southern wedding is picking the perfect venue. Um… Can this venue get anymore perfect? Magnolia Manor at THE SPRINGS in Angleton is not only gorgeous, but it just opened up this year. Courtney booked before it was even built, and said she was “absolutely blown away by how beautiful it turned out to be!”
After the venue, the next thing your guests will notice is your decor. Everything in the pictures below was put together by Courtney’s mother-in-law–we just adore how perfectly it works with the wedding theme!
And you know the day didn’t happen without some boots involved.
And of course, what would a southern wedding be without dancing? Bowdy & Courtney’s first dance was Courtney’s very favorite memory from her special day. I loved the way she described it:
My favorite memory was our first dance because Bowdy NEVER cries, NEVER, but he did during that dance! We both were talking and dancing, saying how blessed we were to have what we have. We had to fight so hard to stay together after everything we had been through in two short years, including the birth of our baby girl so early in our relationship. Our baby girl, Teagan, was our rock that kept us fighting! We were ONE, we were stronger than ever and we just let it all out. We definitely broke down another barrier.
Yes, we love that this adorable southern family became one on that very special day. Their happiness filled the venue, and it was truly a wedding we will never forget.
Bowdy and Courtney brought southern hospitality, fun, and genuine love to THE SPRINGS. We couldn’t be more honored that we got to share their special day with them. Here’s to all the happiness in the world for all of the years to come!
