For southern brides, there seems to be a common internal conflict: Country or Classy?
The good news?
You can have BOTH.
Brittany Haag proved that with her breathtaking wedding at THE SPRINGS.
And how did Brittany get her inspiration and ideas?
I was never one of those girls who envisioned her wedding from the time she was young. I’ve always been more of a realist than a dreamer, sometimes to a fault, so when I first sat down to plan my wedding I had no idea where to start. However, I knew one thing for sure. My now husband and I are both country to the core so I knew boots, spurs, and cowboy hats all must be involved. When most people think “country wedding” they envision burlap. While I do appreciate the occasional burlap decor, I wanted to keep things simple and classic by decorating my tables with wood, greenery, spurs, and white flowers. All of the vendors I chose took my somewhat vague ideas and turned them into amazing character pieces for the wedding.
Not only was the decor important, but according to Brittany, the venue’s style was an essential:
My husband and I know the area well as he is in the horse business but we had never come across this venue before. It took one look online and one trip up to the venue to know this was the place. The gorgeous wood floors, wooden beams, chandeliers, and of course the beautiful outdoor ceremony site made it clear this was our place. It fit our personalities and our visions perfectly. Not to mention Kathy and Nan were absolutely amazing to work with from the first contact. I would recommend this place to anyone who will listen.
With these two simple pieces of advice, the wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect.
And to top it all off, the rain stopped just in time for the gorgeous outdoor ceremony, Brittany’s dream! The rest of the day followed suit in beauty, enjoyment, happiness, and love.
Congratulations to Brett & Brittany! We adore this couple and are so happy we got to be part of their special day! We wish them only the best as they go through life’s adventures as one. And another special thank you to their amazing photographer, Kylie Crump, for these irreplaceable photos.
