Have you ever considered holding your whole wedding indoors?

Many brides initially dream of outdoor weddings, but this couple went against the norm–and it was absolutely gorgeous.

With the right venue, the right vendors, and the right decor, you can make an indoor wedding unique, stunning, and unforgettable.  Just follow these steps:

1.  Choose the right florist.

Zack & Whitney chose an amazing florist who not only made the bouquets & boutonnieres gorgeous, but made their indoor wedding gorgeous as well.  This doesn’t mean you need an over-the-top array of flowers.  Zack & Whitney had simple floral arrangements to add just a bit of color to their white decor, and it was stunning.  Always make sure you research and know your florist if you are having an indoor wedding–the overall look of your ceremony and reception will depend on it!

2.  Add draping & lighting.

The great thing about weddings is that you can create the look that YOU want, even if you are making everything yourself!  Rather than doing it herself, however, Whitney chose Randy Ro Events & Entertainment to set up her draping and lighting, and it made the scenery just gorgeous.  Adding a chandelier, draping on the stage, and placing lanterns by the guests created an luminous, elegant, and romantic atmosphere for the ceremony.  This lighting and display was also stunning during the reception!  Especially the wedding cake display–one of the most beautiful cake displays we’ve seen at THE SPRINGS!  These touches are just what will make your indoor wedding as beautiful as you have ever hoped.

3.  Pick a gorgeous venue on the inside & out.

Even though you are having an indoor wedding, you always want your wedding photos to have some variety and gorgeous scenery.  Of course that means you want the inside to look incredible, but you also want to be looking for photo opportunities outside of the venue.  If the outside is not picture-worthy, you will want to reconsider where you are having your wedding.  After all, after the big day all you really have left are your photos!

4.  Pick colors that stand out.

blue wedding colors

Zack & Whitney picked a gorgeous blue to really make their indoor wedding pop.  Not into the brighter colors?  Even a subtle gold or blush pink can make your indoor wedding glow–just stay away from overriding colors like brown, or TOO much cream.  A little bit of cream is of course gorgeous at any wedding, but too much can make it feel a little too plain.  Elegance and simplicity is of course what every bride wants, but this can be done with lighter pinks or touches of green.  However, this blue is to die for.

5.  Use the light coming through windows & doors for amazing photos.

Use the natural sunlight coming through windows and doors to get amazing photos that you truly could not get just from taking pictures outside.  These photos are unique & eye-catching.  Plus, your photographer will love to get creative with the lighting!
