This modern fairy tale wedding was a real-life D R E A M.
May we present to you the wedding of
Their special day truly had an enchanted atmosphere with whimsical touches — and it turned out to be the perfect fairy tale ambiance!
Robert + Molly celebrated their Best Day Ever at THE SPRINGS (Rockwall — Rockwall Manor) on October 19, 2018 with 225 of their very favorite people.
This amazing, life-size storybook was created by Robert’s father just for their special day!
When searching for a venue, Molly said, “we wanted to make sure it would provide enough space for our guests to enjoy themselves. We wanted the venue to be enchanting like our theme… The grand staircase and chandelier of Rockwall Manor gave us all of the Beauty and the Beast vibes we were hoping for. We also wanted our ceremony and reception to be held in the same location to accommodate our guests’ needs, as they were coming from various locations across Texas.”
The Bride + Groom // Modern Fairy Tale
Molly found her dream wedding dress at Blushing Bride Boutique + Robert’s charming, light grey suit was purchased from Men’s Wearhouse.
The Wedding Party // Modern Fairy Tale
Molly’s bridesmaids wore flowing, mixed purple-toned Azazie dresses in various styles, while Robert’s groomsmen wore charming, light grey suits from Men’s Wearhouse with mixed purple-toned ties.
The Ceremony // Modern Fairy Tale
“Since it poured rain on our wedding day, we chose to do our ceremony in front of the staircase, rather than on it. Instead of walking down an aisle, I walked down the staircase to Robert. One thing we wanted to make sure we did that was different was our unity ceremony. We chose to do Unity Glass; we poured colored glass in a vase that would later be turned into a beautiful sculpture or vase of our choosing that we could keep forever! I also got two little medallions made as well of our unity glass so our future babies could always have a part of us with them.”

The Reception // Modern Fairy Tale
“The reception started with our first dance. My coordinator had half of our guests go upstairs to throw rose petals off the ledge while we danced, it was beautiful. Then, we served a buffet-style assortment of chicken alfredo, spaghetti, salad, and garlic bread, which was amazing! We also had an open bar that we nicknamed “Bibbidi Bobbodi Booze” with themed His and Her drinks; Robert’s drink was “Hades’ Devilish Margarita” and mine was “Fairy Godmother’s Peach Sangria.”
Dancing was a hit! Our maid of honor and best man surprised us with a dance after we played the shoe game, DRESSED AS T-REX’S! We were completely shocked! Meanwhile, I had already planned a surprise visit from our college’s mascot, TEMOC, from the University of Texas at Dallas, since I was the mascot and served as captain while I was in college. TEMOC and I did a quick surprise dance and it was soooo cute! TEMOC played such a huge role in Robert and I’s relationship by keeping us busy in school, so we had to incorporate him!”

First Dance — I See The Light from Disney’s “Tangled”
“Our favorite memory probably has to be our last dance. We ended our night in a private last dance to “A Thousand Years” that played in Twilight. I told Robert he was my Edward Cullen when we were younger so it has a very significant meaning since it reminds me daily to be who I’m meant to be.
This was the only moment we really were able to completely get by ourselves and take it all in. I cried happy tears during a lot of it because all we had to focus on was being immersed with each other’s love.”

Cheers to Robert + Molly!
